While playing through the game you will meet many characters, strange creatures and happenings. They will attempt to communicate with you through words, actions, or facial expressions.
True to the game's title, you must strictly avoid any form of reciprocal response. If a creature waves hello, do not wave back. If it offers a friendly smile, do not smile in return. If it weeps and begs for help, ignore it.
When the system presents response options, you must always select cold, neutral replies—or, at times, remain completely silent until the countdown timer expires.
