Upon entering a level, observe the pathways. Don't run straight into the darkness; locate the glowing crystals and plan your route.
Use WASD and arrow keys to move and dodge through gaps. Space to jump over obstacles. Shift to sprint—only use this when truly surrounded or escaping an ambush. Don't overuse it, as the sound of your running will alert the zombie horde. Use mouse clicks to collect crystals or open secret doors along the way.
Dead Zone Adventure emphasizes living and being conscious, unlike other action-shooter games. Dark rooms, small alleys, and terrible sounds will make your heart race every second.
