Goodbye, Doggy is a short but unique emotional game where you play as a dog who has just passed away. Your spirit doesn't leave right away, though. It stays to finish the last mission: to protect and comfort the family when they are sad.
Control the dog's spirit. Use the arrow keys or WASD to move around the house. You can interact with objects and people around you. Complete unfinished tasks, such as comforting those who are crying. Watch over the house to bring a sense of security. Find mementos that are associated with you and your owner.
Each of your good deeds will add light points, helping the spirit feel at peace. When enough tasks are completed, the dog will be able to smile and leave in peace.
