Beholder 2 is a unique political simulation adventure game. It simulates a dark society, combining management and storytelling elements.
You have just been hired as a civil worker by the Ministry. You have to stay alive, move forward, and decide other people's fates in a harsh totalitarian government.
You play as Evan Redgrave, a new employee at the Ministry, which decides everything in society. Your father has just passed away under suspicious circumstances, and now you are summoned to a mysterious government agency. On your journey, you can work hard to get promoted, investigate your father's death, change the system, or simply become a loyal screw in the dictatorial machine.
Working in the Ministry
Every day, you will do the work of processing files, checking information, and making decisions.
Doing well will help you increase your reputation and money, two important factors for promotion.
Time Management
Each day has a time limit (divided into hours). You must allocate time between working, resting, exploring, and talking to NPCs.
Promotion
Buy new skills, learn, and earn points to compete for higher positions in the Ministry.
Each new rank unlocks new areas and bigger decisions.
Moral Choices
You can denounce, betray, or help other characters.
Your choices directly affect the ending of the game.
Explore and investigate
Find secrets in the Ministry, investigate your father's death, and uncover the political intrigue behind the office facade.
